The Octoen 1-Ton Shredder is a robust industrial pre-processing unit designed to crush and break down bulky organic waste into smaller, uniform fragments, significantly accelerating the microbial decomposition process for industrial composting.
It is specifically engineered to process a wide variety of organic waste, including fruit and vegetable residues, baked goods, rice, pasta, small bones (such as chicken and fish), seafood shells, and general commercial food scraps.
The shredder functions as an integrated pre-processing module for Octoen’s high-capacity composters, like the ECO-1000KSN. It seamlessly connects via automatic screw or belt conveyors to transfer the shredded material directly into the composter, and its operations can be perfectly synchronized through the central Siemens PLC control system.
The 1-Ton Shredder is constructed entirely from 316 L Stainless Steel to ensure corrosion resistance and high durability.
The 1-Ton Shredder operates using a fermentation and decomposition method. A complete processing cycle takes between 12 to 24 hours.
