This Privacy Policy explains how OCTOEN Endüstri A.Ş., incorporated in the Republic of Türkiye, and OCTOEN LLC, incorporated in the State of Illinois, United States (together, "OCTOEN" or "we"), collect, use, share and protect personal data in connection with our website, products, services and business relationships.

This Policy is prepared in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") where applicable to individuals in the European Union, and applicable United States privacy legislation. Each OCTOEN entity acts as the data controller for the personal data it processes.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data that you provide to us directly and data generated through our business relationship, limited to what is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

1. Identity and contact data: name, title, company, e-mail address, phone number and correspondence address, typically provided through our website forms, e-mail, trade fairs or commercial negotiations.
2. Commercial data: offer, order, contract, delivery, invoicing and payment information relating to our business relationship.
3. Website data: technical data such as IP address, browser type and cookie data collected when you visit octoen.com. Subject to your consent, our website also uses analytics tools such as Google Analytics and third-party advertising technologies such as Meta Pixel and Google Ads.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data or personal data of children, and our products do not process personal data.

We do not sell personal data.

International Transfers

As a company operating in Türkiye, the United States and other countries, we may transfer personal data across borders. Such transfers are carried out in compliance with the conditions of the KVKK and, for data subject to the GDPR, on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and for the periods required by applicable commercial, tax and other legislation. When the retention period expires, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or your local EU data protection authority.
