The machines of the set (photos combined, not to scale)Pet Food Machine Set
A complete production line
A set of separate machines that makes pet food from food waste and dry ingredients: shredding, mixing with heat treatment, shaping, baking and optional coating. The machines run as one automated line or each on its own.
- Shred, heat treat, shape and bake
- One line or separate machines
- Follow every step from a phone or computer

How it works
Food waste and dry ingredients go in at one end, and baked pet food comes out of the oven at the other. Each machine does one job, and the automation runs every step.
1
Shred
Food leftovers go into the ECO-100 Shredder, which cuts them into small pieces for the next machine.
- Up to 300 kg/hUp to 661 lb/h
- 2 × 1.2 kW
2
Mix and heat treat
The ECO-300 KSN mixes the shredded material in its drum. While it mixes at 55-70 °C (131-158 °F), the automatic dosing system adds a probiotic enzyme. Near the end of the cycle, the inner drum holds the mix at 85 °C (185 °F) for 65 minutes, a heat step against Salmonella and other pathogens. Once the mix is back at room temperature, it moves on.
- Enzyme at 55-70 °CEnzyme at 131-158 °F
- 85 °C for 65 minutes185 °F for 65 minutes
- Automatic enzyme dosing
3
Transfer
Stainless steel screw conveyor
A stainless steel screw conveyor carries the cooled mix to the extruder. Where the machines stand apart, the mix is moved by hand.
- Stainless steel
4
Shape
Extruder, 7 kW
Option: ECO Pellet 220
The extruder's screw presses the mix through a die, and a rotating knife at the die cuts it into kibble. As an option, the ECO Pellet 220 pellet machine can take its place.
- 7 kW extruder
5
Bake and cool
Three-tier conveyor oven
The kibble moves through the oven on three stainless steel belts, 2 m (6.6 ft) each and 6 m (19.7 ft) in total. An 11 kW fan heater heats the oven up to 200 °C (392 °F). Its 0.5 kW fan motor is drive controlled, and independent temperature sensors check the heat. A pass takes about 3 minutes, and the belt speed is adjustable. Fans inside the oven cool the food, and it comes out ready to use.
- Up to 200 °CUp to 392 °F
- About 3 minutes, adjustable
- 3 belts × 2 m (6.6 ft)
- 11 kW heater, 0.5 kW fan motor
6Option
Coat
Coating machine
For extra flavor, the food can go on to the coating machine, a rotating drum 2 m (6.6 ft) long with a 0.75 kW motor. As the drum turns, a spray system coats the kibble with flavoring.
- Rotating drum, 2 m (6.6 ft)
- 0.75 kW motor
Control and monitoring
Each machine has its own controls, and the whole line is managed from one control center.
- Follow the whole process from a phone or computer
- The amount of waste loaded is recorded
- Up to 20 recipes saved
- After a power cut, the line restarts where it stopped
- Automatic enzyme dosing
- Adjustable oven belt speed
One line or separate machines
The machines run as one fully integrated line, or each one can stand in its own place. Between them, product moves on conveyors or by hand.

Frequently asked questions
All questions on the resources pageWarranty, service and delivery
What warranty do the machines have?
A 12-month limited warranty. The exact terms are set in your written quote.
Who installs the machine and trains our team?
We plan installation, commissioning and user training with you; in the US these services are quoted separately. For the ECO-30, installation and training are done remotely.
Where do you have service?
OCTOEN has direct operations in the US and Türkiye, and assembly, installation and service facilities in Chicago, Peru and Chile.
How long does delivery take?
Lead times are confirmed per project in your quote. The ECO-5000 line has a production lead time of 90 days. Fast door-to-door shipping with FedEx or DHL is available for the ECO-30 to ECO-500 KSN.
Are the machines certified?
CE certified; manufactured with CSA and UL standards in mind. OCTOEN's management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002, and its welding to ISO 3834-2.
