BDR Baymak processes the organic waste produced at its facility in Türkiye with an OCTOEN ECO-500 KSN. Up to 500 kg (1,102 lb) of waste a day becomes compost where it is produced, instead of being hauled away.

How the ECO-500 KSN works

The ECO-500 KSN is a stainless steel on-site food waste composter for large kitchens and facilities. It runs on PLC control with one-button operation, so no dedicated operator is needed. An automatic recipe runs a 12-24 hour composting cycle and reduces waste volume by up to 90%. Activated carbon and UVC filtration keep it odorless, so it can be installed indoors or outdoors.
